Curtis Williams Mondaine (Hoghead) 62, of Jefferson City, Missouri passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2024 at his home in Jefferson City. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on June 29, 1962 to the parents of Curtis Ford and Shirley Mondaine.
Curtis spent his childhood, teen and early adult years in St. Louis, MO. He enjoyed several hobbies such as boxing. During his amateur career, he inspired and encouraged others to learn to box. In his adulthood, he moved to Jefferson City, Missouri with his wife and children. He worked for Lincoln University of Missouri as a Groundskeeper. He lived the rest of his life surrounded by family and friends in Jefferson City, Missouri.
Curtis had a strong unwavering spirit. He was known as the "Golden Glove Fighter" and "The Champ". He was someone that you did not hesitate to come to for anything. He spread love and strength to anyone that was near him. He was not only a protector but a comforter, he would give out the sun, moon, and stars if he could. Every ounce of time and energy he had was spent with family and friends.
Curtis preceded in death by his parents; Shirley Mondaine and Curtis Ford, and his siblings; Fernando Mondaine, Darryl Mondaine, Vernon Mondaine
Curtis leaves to cherish his memories to his wife Tracey Thomas; son Micheal Harris; daughters Keisha Reed (Donald Reed), Mariah Mondaine, Miera Mondaine-Batts (Lamont Batts), also Mallika Mondaine. His siblings; Marion Mondaine, Kevin Mondaine, Rodney Mondaine, Reginald Mondaine, and Nicole Mondaine along with his six sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law. Also, his grandchildren Kasey, Destinee, Donald III, Raniya, Kamony, Jamorion, Lamont III, and Lamir, also his great-great granddaughter Kaia Rae. He is forever grateful for his brother in heart Tony Paige (Baby Earl) and cousins; Johnny Sims, Barbra Sims Including a loving number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
