Curtis Lamar Richards, age 70, of Ball Ground GA, passed away peacefully January 30, 2023 at his home with his family and his dog, Harley, by his side. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and son, was born October 11, 1952.
Lamar is survived by his wife of 40 years, Anna Marie Richards of Ball Ground. His children Tobey Kile (Koko), Clint Richards, Eric Richards (Kristin), and Sarah McNeely (Ryan). His grandchildren Cameron Kile (Kortnie), Cody Richards (Chelsea), Tiffany Kile, Kayson Richards, Tenley Richards, Mason Richards, Ryder McNeely, and Shay McNeely. His great grandchildren, Harper, Oliver, and Skyler Kile and Gunner Richards. His sister Martha Stowe (Ricky). He is preceded in death by his parents Curtis and Priscilla Richards. He loved fishing, hunting, shooting skeet, and playing with his grandchildren. He worked hard and played harder. He was always ready with quick wit and a good joke, especially for the ones he loved most. He had a huge heart and would take the white t-shirt off his back for anyone. He will be deeply missed.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 4, at 11:00 a.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ricky Byrd, Rev. Terry Caylor and Rev. Casey Richards officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
