Cynthia "Cindy" Greene Hogge, age 65, of Aberdeen Creek, went to be with our heavenly Father on Friday, May 9th, 2025. Cindy was born on January 1st, 1960, to the late Henry "Malvin" and Mattie "Senora" Greene. She enjoyed traveling, the OBX, relaxing on the beach, cooking, and most of all listening to music. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, James "Jimmy" R. Greene. Cindy is survived by her daughter, Casey Laine Hogge-Jenkins (Joshua Evans), Casey's father, Mark E. Hogge (Robin Hogge), Sister-in-law, Kathleen Greene, Niece, Martha Bjers (John), and best friend, Becky Blaylock. The family will receive friends at Hogg Funeral Home on Thursday, May 15th, 2025, from 6:00 - 7:30 pm. The memorial service will be held at Bellamy United Methodist Church, officiated by Pastor Ed Walker on Friday, May 16th, 2025, beginning at 11:00 am. The inurnment will be private. In memory of Cindy, memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross at P.O. Box 37839, Boone, IA 50037, or the Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society at P.O. Box 385, Gloucester, VA 23061. Services under the direction of Hogg Funeral Home & Crematory.
