Cynthia Hoosac Obituary
Our Beautiful Angel, Cynthia L. Petros Hoosac, 68, of Belle Vernon, Washington Twp., went to heaven on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 in her home with her husband by her side. Born July 21, 1957 in N. Charleroi, PA she was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Misher Petros. A lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon area, Mrs. Hoosac was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Belle Vernon. Her career started as a cosmetic manager at Thrift Drug, and later serving as a pharmacy technician at Eckers and Rite Aid in Belle Vernon.
Cynthia was known for her warm spirit and thoughtfulness; she celebrated her coworkers' birthdays with gestures that included lottery tickets and small cakes, bringing joy to those around her. She cherished special moments spent on vacations at Disney World and Las Vegas, as well as quality time with her nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces.
She is survived by her husband Frank Hoosac to whom she was married to for 44 years, sister Candace Patterson of Fairhope, sister in law Shelly Bedsworth-McManus & husband Mark of Rostraver Twp., three nephews & nieces Jonathan Patterson, Amber & Jason Andria, Bethany Bedsworth, seven great nieces & great nephews Kendall, Jeremy, Avery, Alivia, Zoey, Madison, Gionna, and several cousins and close friends. She is preceded in death by her brother-in-law William Patterson.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 11-2 pm followed by funeral services at 2 pm with Pastor Sandy Fitzgibbons officiating at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
