Myron Sepitko, 86, of Belle Vernon, passed away Sunday, October 26, 2025, at his home with his loving wife at his side. Born October 20, 1939 in N. Charleroi, PA, he was the son of the late Fritz and Mary Sepitko (Haydko), and step-father John Bailey.
He was blessed to have celebrated 60 years of marriage with his bride Evelyn Sepitko (Perun) this past August. Myron’s journey on this earth was marked by a strong faith, love of family, and patriotism. A resident of Washington Twp. for the past 36 years, Myron was a member of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church.
He graduated from Monessen High School in 1958. Later, he joined the US Navy and sailed around the world twice, reaching as far south as Antarctica. He earned the Good Conduct Medal for his exemplary service. A man of many skills, he worked as a licensed cosmetologist, barber and barber manager. He went on to work in the coal mine; and he and his wife and brother-in-law, Joseph Perun, co-owned and operated Campground 70 in Charleroi for 55 years. A proud veteran, Myron was a member of the Mid-Mon Valley Shipmates; Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659; and was Senior Vice Commander of the Monessen Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1190.
He is survived by his wife Evelyn Sepitko; daughter and son-in-law Camie & Joseph Robb of Negley, OH; daughter-in-law Shereen Sepitko of Las Vegas, NV; grandson Nicholas Hayduk & wife Kaitlin and cherished great-grandchildren Mikayla & Bentley; brother-in-law Joseph Perun & wife Diane; sister-in-law Mary Jenion; and four nieces: Patti, Christine, Melanie & Natalie. The family would like to thank Myron’s caregivers over the past year—especially those dear to his heart, Victoria, Lisa, Lindsey, and Crystal.
He was welcomed at the gates of heaven by his parents; son Wayne Sepitko; grandson Dillon Hayduk; brother Jack Bailey; and niece Lesli Ann Bailey.
