Mrs. Cynthia "Cindy" Maroney Ison, 66, of Beech Island, SC, wife of forty-nine years to Johnny Ison, entered into rest on Monday, June 3, 2024.
A lifelong area resident, she was a daughter of Jessie Hawkins Maroney and the late Jimmy Maroney, she had been a resident of Aiken County, SC, most of her life. She was a 1976 graduate of LBC High School and was a member of Clearwater First Baptist Church.
Cindy enjoyed working in her yard and going on camping trips. More than anything however, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter, Katelyn.
In addition to her husband, parents and granddaughter, family members include a son, Chris Ison and his wife, Jennifer, siblings, Milton Maroney and his wife, Julie and Teresa Stephens, as well as a host of other family members.
Friends are welcome to come by the family residence on Wednesday, June 5, 2004, from noon until 4 o'clock, for a time of fellowship.
