Cynthia A. Lowes,
68, of Zionsville, passed away August 18, 2021. She was born to the late Francis and Lois Salb in Indianapolis on September 5th, 1952. Cynthia was a graduate of St. Agnes Academy and also earned a Bachelor's degree from Purdue University and a Master's degree from Indiana University. Cynthia met and married the love of her life, William C. Lowes, Jr. 40 years ago. After their wedding, Cynthia began teaching in Carmel. She later went to work for IBM as an accounts manager and retired after 30 years with the company.

She was a long-time member of St. Alphonsus Church. Cynthia enjoyed decorating her home and spending time in her garden. She was a steadfast woman who will be remembered for the love and care she always showed her family, friends and dogs.

Cynthia is survived by her husband of over 40 years, William "Bill" C. Lowes, Jr.; son, William "Will" C. Lowes III; sisters (and very best friends), Paula (William) Brauman and Linda (Mike) Hilligoss; sister-in-law, Barbara Lowes; several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family; and her two dogs, Duke and Woodford.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Aaron-Ruben-Nelson Mortuary, 11411 N. Michigan Rd., at 1 PM on Friday, August 27, 2021. Friends are welcome to gather from 11 AM until the time of the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Boone County.
