Cynthia R. Raglin, 75, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away on January 17, 2025, at Bonaventure of Colorado Springs, Assisted Living Facility. Born in San Diego, California, on May 24, 1949, Cynthia spent her life dedicated to others, especially in the medical field.
Cynthia was a dedicated neonatal nurse for 30 years, with her final 15 years spent at Children's Hospital of Kings Daughter in Norfolk, VA. She also served as the Quality Assurance Director at Operation Smile in Virginia Beach, VA.
An adventurous spirit, Cynthia traveled the world to support Operation Smile, which repairs cleft lips and palates in children. She also climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa. Cynthia was known for her love of the beach, her vibrant social life, and her generosity in giving to others. She was a beloved entertainer who always put others first.
Cynthia is survived by her son, Michael Raglin of Peyton, CO; daughter, Susan Seimet of Colorado Springs, CO; son-in-law, Justin Seimet of Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren, Paul and Rowan Seimet of Colorado Springs, CO; sister, Cheryl Harmon of Lawrence, KS; and brothers, Mark Rainer of Dallas, TX, and Michael Rainer of Norman, OK.
A Celebration of Life will be held on 24 May 2025, at 8485 Avens Circle, Colorado Springs, CO 80920. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Operation Smile to help continue Cynthia's legacy of supporting children around the world.
