Cynthia Squires Obituary
Cynthia Kay Squires, of Morton, Mississippi, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at the age of 65.
The family will hold a memorial service at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church on Monday, October 13, 2025, at 11:00 am. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 am.
Mrs. Squires was born on July 24, 1960, in Raleigh, Mississippi, to Walter Carter Buckman and Glenda Coulter Buckman. She retired from Tyson as a quality assurance tech seven years ago. She enjoyed working around her home. She loved spending time with her family and her mini horse.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Glenda Buckman; son, Dan Tillman; and son, Jonathan Squires.
Survivors include her husband, Tommy Squires; daughter, Tina Phillipson (Chris); sons, Christopher Squires (Shellie) and Thomas Squires, Jr. (Jeanette); brothers, Jerry Buckman and Madison Buckman (Teresa); seven grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Please have flowers delivered to the church Monday morning.
