Cynthia S. Yoder, 60, of Middlebury, left her earthly body peacefully at 7:38 pm on Thursday, October 2, at Center for Hospice Care, Esther's House, Elkhart. She was born on December 23, 1964, in Goshen, to Richard and Leri (Long) Miller. On October 16, 2004, in Bristol, she married Carlton Yoder, he survives. Survivors in addition to her husband are two daughters, Pamela Bloss of Goshen, Ashley Sawdey of Middlebury; son, Terry Bloss II of Middlebury; 12 grandchildren; mother, Leri Lambert of Goshen; sister, Barbara (Jeff) Hughes of Goshen; brother, Dana (Carla) Miller of Goshen. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Miller. Cindy had an associate's degree in mortuary science and a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing (BSN). She worked in Oncology, ICU, and hospice care. Cindy loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed fishing, gardening and landscaping as well as her Bible study group. She was a member of Crossroads Community Church. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 7:00 pm on Friday, October 10 at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, 1003 South Main Street, Middlebury. There will also be visitation from 9:00 – 9:45 am on Saturday, October 11 at the funeral home prior to leaving in procession to Grace Lawn Cemetery, Middlebury, for a 10:00 am graveside service. Following the graveside service, there will be an 11:00 am Celebration of Life service at First Mennonite Church, 203 E. Lawrence Street, Middlebury. Services will be conducted by Pastors Dr. Doug Boquist and Tim Eash. Memorials may be given to Center for Hospice Care, Esther's House.
