D'Arcy Erdman

D'Arcy McCleary Erdman was born October 14, 1942 in Youngstown, Ohio, She passed away peacefully at her home in Bonita Springs, FL on November 1, 2025 at 11:15 pm.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles J. Erdman, Jr. and parents Elmer T "Bud" McCleary, Jr. and Louise Z. "Weedee" McCleary.
She graduated from Poland Seminary High School in Poland, OH in 1960 and the Centenary College for Women in New Jersey in 1962.
She and her daughters moved to Naples in 1982 and she opened D'Arcy's Gifts in Springs Plaza in Bonita and operated it until 1995.
She married the love of her life, Charles "Chuck" Erdman on August 7, 1991. They enjoyed almost 25 years of marriage before his passing in 2016.
She was such a fun-loving, positive person and everyone loved her wherever she went! She was an excellent cook, loved to entertain, travel, play Bridge, golf, shop, and dine out with friends and family.
She is survived by her daughters D'Arcy Tuyls of Estero, FL and Dawn (Rick) Maharry of Harriman, TN. Bonus Children: Paula Elliott of Fredericktown, Oh, Elizabeth "Beth" (Kelly) Case of Hebron, OH, Sharon Brisbin of Columbia, TN. Grandchildren: Marni (Brent) Begle of Ft Myers, FL, Lindsay (Mike) Coffield of Whitefield, NH, Grace (Max) Baker of Kingston, TN, Madison (Alex) Amaya of Monterey, CA, Dillon (Julia) Maharry of Holland, MI, Kenneth P. Elliott, Garrett (Jenna) Brisbin, Logan (April) Brisbin, and Alivia Brisbin. And Great Grandchildren: Brenson Begle, Liam Coffield, Ian Brisbin, Caston Brisbin, Eloise Baker, and coming soon Baby Begle!
