Dae Chai Obituary
Born on February 18, 1944, to Kyu Sung and Tae Hee Chai, he was the eldest of five siblings. In 1973, he married Jane Chai, and together they built a life full of love, resilience, and quiet devotion. In 1984, Dae Suk and Jane immigrated to the United States, where they raised their three daughters and worked hard to build a strong foundation for future generations.
He is survived by:
• His loving wife: Jane Chai
• Eldest daughter and son-in-law: Julianne Chai and Dan Coyle &
• Second daughter and family: Sujin Chai and Jason Hendren & and their children Averie Lopez and Austen Lopez; Jason's children from a previous marriage: Vienna, Andrew, and Savannah
• Youngest daughter: Sukyong Chai and her children Jameson Goins and Emerson Goins
Dae Suk was a quiet, steady presence in the lives of those who loved him. He had a strong sense of duty, a gentle heart hidden behind a stern expression, and an enduring love for his family. He will be remembered for his resilience, work ethic, and the deep care he showed in his own way.
His life and legacy will be honored at a memorial service on:
