With a heart filled with sorrow, we announce the peaceful passing of Daisy Mae Torres on March 2, 2026. Born on November 20, 1960, in the Bronx, New York, Daisy was a beacon of love, warmth, and faith. As a devoted Christian, she lived a life of admirable grace and conviction, embodying the essence of the verse in Proverbs 31:25, "She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future."

Daisy was a woman of incredible spirit and unmatched radiance. Her love for traveling and exploring the world with her beloved husband, Nelson Bermudez, was a testament to her adventurous heart and curious mind. Daisy's creative spirit was often reflected in her love for arts and crafts, creating handmade projects filled with love for those dear to her. Her compassion and knack for making everyone feel special, seen, and deeply cared for were truly her trademarks.

Above all, Daisy held a profound love for her family. She is survived by her mother, Luz Bones; her brothers, Guillermo and Carlos Torres; her sister, Evelyn Torres; her devoted husband, Nelson Bermudez; her children, Jahaira, Agustin, Benito, and Daniel Morales; and her cherished grandchildren. Daisy was the embodiment of love and joy for her family, and they were the center of her world.

Visitation for Daisy will take place on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 9:00 AM at Puerta Del Cielo Funeral Home, 730 State Street, Springfield, Massachusetts, 01109. Interment will follow at 11:30 AM at Oak Grove Cemetery of Springfield Inc., 426 Bay Street, Springfield, Massachusetts, 01109.
