Dale "Speedy" Patrick Hebert, of Houma, Louisiana was born on August 29, 1956, and peacefully departed this world on November 5, 2024.
Dale's memory will forever be cherished by his loving wife of 40 years, Kathy Moore Hebert; his children; Jamie (Stephanie) Hebert, Todd (Shannon) Davis Sr., Jennifer Hebert, Jason Hebert, Shane (Toni) Hebert; his siblings; Judy (Fulton) Blanchard, Randy (Ruth) Hebert, Ricky (Angela) Hebert, Lori (Mark) Burney, and his mother, Diane Freeman Hebert. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and a peanut on the way.
Dale is reunited in Heaven with his father, Jeswood Hebert, his brother, Rudy Hebert and his sister, Laura Hebert.
Dale had a passion for fishing and taking his boat out for a cruise, making sure his lawn was in top notch care, and spending as much time with his family. He enjoyed joking with people always wanting to make them laugh and keep a smile on their face! He took pride in his work and was an 18-Wheeler Driver and Dispatcher for many years starting with Ace Transportation and then furthering his career with United Vision Logistics and ACME Truck Line. He was given his Handle Name "Speedy" and has been affectionately known as such since then!
A man of integrity and warmth, Dale touched the lives of many with his kind spirit and generous heart. His presence brought comfort and joy to all who knew him, and his absence leaves a void that cannot be filled.
A Visitation will take place on Saturday, November 9, 2024, from 9 AM to 11 AM with a Celebration of Life service beginning at 11 AM at Chauvin Funeral Home. Interment will follow services at Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery.
In this time of mourning, let us remember Speedy for the love he shared, the laughter and light he brought into our lives. May he rest in peace, his legacy enduring in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
