New Iberia – Services will be held at a later date for Dale Patrick Landry, 62, a beloved carpenter and contractor, who passed away on January 21, 2024, at his home in New Iberia.
Dale was born in New Iberia on April 22, 1961, to the late Raymond Joseph Landry, Sr. and Shirley Dooley Landry. He was a devoted family man and a cherished friend to many.
During his 16-year career as a contractor for Lowe's, Dale demonstrated exceptional skill and craftsmanship. He had a keen eye for detail and took great in his work. His dedication to his craft was evident in every project he undertook.
Outside of his professional life, Dale had a deep passion for fishing. He often spent leisurely afternoons casting lines with his grandkids and his best friend, Brent Porier. These moments on the water brought him immense joy and allowed him to create lasting memories with those he held dear.
Dale also possessed a generous spirit and volunteered regularly at Sugarena and the Relay for Life Cancer Society. He believed in giving back to his community and saw volunteering as an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Dale is survived by his loving wife, Pansy Dore Landry; sons, Brandon Landry and Coty Landry; stepson, Johnathon Angers (Samantha); grandchildren, Kamrin Landry, Parris Good, Mason Landry, Keelynn Landry, and Daxton Landry; siblings, Kathleen May (Ron), Laney Hebert, Karen Romero, Wendy Lopez (David), Janet Hebert (Drew), Chad Landry (Rachel), Jason Landry (Kim), Todd Landry (Mackenzie), and Jenny Menard (Chad); mother-in-law, Patsy Dore; sisters-in-law, Johnnie Gutierrez (Jason) and Tamy Dore; and godchildren, Jordi Jones, Eric Landry, Christopher Louviere, and Jade Dugas.
