Dale passed away peacefully on December 3, 2024, at the age of 74. He was the loving husband of Linda Peterson; loving father of Jeff (Kim) Hohensee and Eric Peterson; dear grandpa of Jessica and Nick. He leaves behind one brother, Bruce (Nancy) Peterson, and two sisters, Mary (Steve) Isbell and Annie (Brian) Montgomery; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents, George and Ethel Peterson; two brothers, Paul and Gary Peterson; and nephew, David Montgomery.
He was a devoted long-term employee of Super America and Speedway. He loved his family dearly and enjoyed waterskiing, racquetball, golf and softball, along with a good brandy old fashioned.
A celebration of Dale’s life will be held at a later date.
The nightly ceremony in Washington, D.C. will be dedicated in honor of your loved one on the day of your choosing.
