Deborah “Deb” “Debbie” Louise Riddell, age 73, passed away on September 12th, 2025. Deb (née Schmidbauer) was born in Milwaukee, WI, to Marie (née Deitelhoff) and Herbert Schmidbauer. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Pamela Gray and Georgia Murphy, and her brother, Dennis Richards.
Deb is survived by her loving husband, Alan Riddell, and shared 49 beautiful years of marriage. Deb and Alan lived the majority of their time together in West Allis and enjoyed traveling, Packers games, and making memories with family. They held a special bond that was a testament to their love and partnership through the years. Debbie attended Messmer High School and was a dedicated and hardworking woman, spending over four decades working at WE Energies. She genuinely enjoyed her position there but embraced retirement even more! Debbie had a quick wit about her that always kept everyone on their toes.
She is lovingly remembered by her children: Ryan (Mary), Randy (Diane), and Dan (Stephanie); and by her cherished grandchildren: Bentley, Brody, Courtney, Christopher, and Corey.
Though gone from our sight, Deb will never be absent from our hearts. Her memory will be treasured deeply by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A celebration of Deborah’s life will take place at a later date.
