Age 63 of Elmira, NY. She was born July 2, 1962 in Bath, NY, daughter of the late Wanda (Bates) Skinkle and passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 8, 2025. In addition to her mother, she was predeceased by her brother Howard Vaughan and sister Millie Skinkle. She is survived by her children Tonja, Shawn and Chantaya Vaughan; grandchildren Zhaniece Gilliam, Shida Gilliam, Erica Altilio, Ryan Vaughan, Shawn Vaughan, Zahnasia Gilliam, Elijah Vaughan and Tray'vion Vaughan; great grandchildren Za'mariana, Za'niyah, Ja'kari and Zai'lanii Gilliam; sister Cindy Burley; brother Art Skinkle along with several nieces and nephews. Dale was employed by Walmart for many years. She was a very loving and caring person. She enjoyed playing bingo and monthly lunches with her friends and drinking her Dunkin Donuts latte every morning. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 19th at 1 pm at the Town Hall Community Center, 31 Grandview Ave., Elmira, where family and friends are invited to honor Dale.

Dale I worked with you for 12 years and was so glad I met you!!! You were a great friend you and Peggy made my day!!! I hope you and her are catching up I hope you dance!!!!
