Damon Anatoly Murray

Damon Anatoly Murray, age 21, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2022.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 29, 2022, at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home, 1209 Madison St, Clarksville, TN 37040. Damon's family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the time-of-service Saturday at the funeral home.
Damon was born on June 19, 2001. He was a 2021 graduate of Rossview High School where he was a member of the Hawks football team, was previously employed by Loews and was most recently employed with Moore Construction.
Everyone loved Damon for his sense of humor. He could always make you laugh. Damon was very unapologetically himself and very selfless. He loved sports, movies, music, the outdoors, working, and being around family and friends.
There are no words to describe this young man. In his too short lifetime, Damon made such an enormous impact on all those he met. There is no adequate way to describe the love everyone had for you and how much we will miss you, your smile, your love of family and friends. You will live on in our hearts and we will cherish our memories of you throughout everything we do.
Damon was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Paul I. Black, Jr. He is survived by his parents, Bret and Katherine Murray; his sister, Abby Murray; paternal grandparents Richard and Barbara Murray of Elephant Butte, NM; and his maternal grandmother Carolyn Black of Jonesboro, AR. He is also survived by his best friends Randall Warren, Mary Mathis Parnell and Samantha Brower and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Randall Warren, Mary Mathis Parnell, Samantha Brower, Randy Rudd, Brecc Puckett, Hunter Wells, Chase Wells, and Ben Granato.
