Damond Kendall Julien

Damond Kendall Julien a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend gained his heavenly wings on July 30, 2025. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on September 24,1999. Damond was baptized at an early age at Watson Memorial Teaching Ministries. Damond was the eptiome of a young man who bought light, laugther and love. Damond really enjoyed his life during his time on earth.
He was a graduate of Sophie B Wright High School Class of 2017. Damond held many jobs throughout his life, from working at the zoo and FedEx to serving as a dedicated truck driver. He was known for his reliability; sense of humor and kindness he showed everyone he met.
Damond is the cherished son of Chandrika Julien and Demond Jones Sr; devoted brother to D aya' Jones, Avery Julien, Demond Jones Jr., and Dominick Jones; proud uncle to Aamiyah Manuel and Camron Variste whom he deeply loved; and devoted grandson of Vanessa Willams-Harris (Terry Harris) Arthur Jones (Charlotte Jones).
Damond's presence was a source of joy and strength to his family. Damond was dearly loved by a large extended family.
He also leaves to mourn his passing his uncles, Anthony Julien, Jamal Jones (Brandy), Tory Sears, Lawrence Williams (Brandy); aunts, Shandrinette Julien, Dana Jones (Harry), Tangie Brown (Chad), and Wanda Washington (Rusty); devoted friend Brielle Gibson, and numerous cousins, relatives and friends.
Damond was preceded in death by his sister, Destinee Jones; maternal grandparents, Anthony and Barbara Julien; great grandparents Gloria Clanton, Arthur and Bennie Ree Jones, Lucille Knight, and Arthur Smith.
Damond's presence and his light will be truly missed.
A celebration service honoring the life and legacy of the late Damond Kendall Julien will be held at Watson Memorial Teaching Ministries 4400 St.Charles Ave in New Orleans, LA on Saturday August 9,2025. Viewing will begin at 9:00a.m. Followed by the service at 10:00a.m.
