In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Sharon, great granddaughter Kinsey Wise, brother Larry Thurman and brothers-in-law Raymond Harper and Bill Nash.
Damone is survived by 2 children: Kevin Thurman (Joe Lynn) of Cloverport, KY and Theresa Elder (Greg) of Owensboro, KY.
4 grandchildren: Kyle Elder, Lauren Crockett (Derek), Lindsey Carr (Ben) and Tatum Thurman
5 great grandchildren: Damon, Gavin, Jax, Addison and Maylee
3 sisters: Shirley Harper, Sandra Corley (Rick) and Debbie Nash (Mike Gorman) of Cloverport, KY
Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 11 AM with burial in the Cloverport Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, 4 – 7 PM and Saturday after 8 AM. All times are central.
