Dan J. Biernacki

Dan J. Biernacki, age 62, of Rensselaer, Indiana passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Rensselaer Care Center. He was born July 26, 1958 in Homestead, Florida, the son of Daniel Biernacki and Ernestine (Odum) Finson. Dan worked at the City Office Pub in Rensselaer from 1995 until 2015, when it closed, as a dishwasher. He loved listening to Lady Gaga and wanted to see her in concert after COVID-19. Dan loved his family and he ("Joey" to family) will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his sister, Denise (Billy) Finson Flatt; sister-in-law, Karen Biernacki, several nieces & nephews, and his favorite Aunt and Uncle, Becky and Carl Sippel of Lakeland, Florida.
Dan was preceded in death by his mother, Ernestine Finson, step-father, Richard Finson, and brother, Thomas Biernacki.
Dan's wishes were to be cremated and interred at Elmwood Cemetery in Hammond, Indiana. Integrity Funeral & Cremation has been entrusted with the arrangements.
