Dan Blackwood

Dan Blackwood died July 19, 2021, in Oklahoma City. He was born May 25, 1951, in Oklahoma City, OK to Roy R. and Martha Ann (Braniger) Blackwood. Dan lived in the Oklahoma City area most of his life. He attended Putnam City Schools, graduating in 1969. He followed high school with several years at Oklahoma State University. Dan later joined his parents in the family business at Blackwood Business College. After the sale of the business college, he worked a short while at several jobs, primarily involving accounting or construction. Dan finished his working career as a salesman for Cox Cable prior to retirement.
Dan was preceded in death by his parents and two younger sisters, Susan Norman and Jane Gordon. He is survived by older brother, Rob; brothers-in-law, Randy Gordon and Robert Norman; nephew, Joey Gordon; and nieces, Mattie Gordon, Emily Mayfield, and Becky Senn.
