Judith A. Blackwood, 78, of Marshfield died peacefully Friday, November 28, 2025 at House of the Dove Hospice in Marshfield, WI.
A Funeral Service for Judy will be held Tuesday, December 9th at 11am at the Rembs Funeral Home in Marshfield. Deacon Ray Draeger will officiate. The family welcomes relatives and friends for visitation from 9am until time of service. Judy will be interred next to her husband Michael in Neillsville City Cemetery immediately following the funeral.
Judy was born September 13, 1947 in Marshfield, WI to Gordon and Melba (Boness) Campbell. She grew up in the Neillsville area and attended schools there. On April 30, 1966 she married Robert Vine. They later divorced, he survives. She married Michael Blackwood June 6th, 1986, he sadly passed away in 2019.
Judy was a lover of the great outdoors: from camping with family and friends to master gardener. She is remembered taking in the breeze on the pontoon boat up north and walking in her sandals on the beaches of Florida. She enjoyed vacationing and traveling with the "Crazy 8's". Judy was an avid packer fan and was happy to listen to her team win just this last week. She took much delight in shopping the garage sales with her grandkids. Family was her greatest joy and she was absolutely proud to be a grandma/great-grandma!
Judy is survived by her daughters, Lisa (Jay) Olson of Chili and Lesley Brown of Marshfield. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Amanda, Hannah, Brennen, Madelyn, Emma (Brandon) and Aubriana (Connor), and her great-grandson Leo. She is further survived by extended family Peter Brown, brother Donald (Shirley) Campbell, and sisters Pat (Ted) Carter and Diane (Dale) Northup. Judy is also survived by inlaws Patricia Hoffman (Jack Morzinski) and Daniel & Mary Blackwood, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and parents-in-law, her husband Michael, her brother Richard W. "Shot" Campbell, sister-in-law Mary Ellen Campbell, and brother-in-law Daniel Hoffman
