COOKEVILLE CHAPEL - A funeral mass for Mr. Daniel David Drab, age 88 of Cookeville, will be held Monday, November 11, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Visitation will begin Monday at 10:30 a.m. with a Rosary at 11:00 a.m., all at St. Thomas Aquinas.
Private family entombment will be held Tuesday, November 12th at Calvary Cemetery in Nashville.
Mr.Drab died Sunday November 3, 2024 following a brief illness.
He was born May 9, 1936 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late Wilmer and Lorraine Wavrunek Drab.
Dan worked as an executive with the Porelon corporation in Cookeville. He was an active member and volunteer at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. He was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and enjoyed gardening. Dan was a loving and kind man who was always generous with his time to listen or lend a helping hand.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Mike Drab.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Stodola Drab with whom he recently celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary; daughters, Karen Drab and Marie Drab and husband Bill Roberts; sons, Paul Drab and wife Betsy and Dennis Drab and wife Gabriela; and grandchildren, Heather, Sebastian, Andres and Danica Drab. His brother, Steve Drab and wife Sally and sister, Mary Polacarz and husband, Jim, and his aunt, Roberta Mouty also survived him.
Memorial contributions are suggested to be made to St. Jude’s Children's Research Hospital stjude.org and/or Parkinson's Foundation Tennessee & Kentucky Chapter parkinson.org.
