Dan Furgason

Dan Furgason, 72, of Richland Center died on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born August 20, 1951, in Merced, California, the son of John and Mildred (Gray) Furgason. Dan was united in marriage to Sandra Blood and to this union two children were born. He farmed and enjoyed being outdoors, cutting wood, watching wildlife, and doing field work. Dan loved his trucks and was in dart leagues for many years.
Dan is survived by two children: Wendy (Louis Gifford) Furgason of Richland Center,
Travis (Jenny) Furgason of Richland Center;
Five grandchildren: Brandon, Mercedees (Colten) Pfleegor, Terrek (Kylie), Cade (Claire), Trent;
One great-grandchild Wyatt and one on the way;
Sister: Carol (Robert) Giddens of California;
Many other relatives and friends.
Dan was preceded in death by his parents, brother Steve and sister Margaret.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at the Pratt Memorial Chapel from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM, with a service to be held at 7:00 PM. The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with their arrangements.
