Ronald Eugene Furgason, affectionately known as Ron, passed away on June 7, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on April 9, 1949, in Winchester, Indiana, Ron lived a life full of laughter, love, and dedication to his family and community.

Ron was a devoted barber for 50 years, spending the last 14 years at All Sports Barbers in Centerville. He retired from the Honda engine plant in Anna, Ohio at the age of 62 and continued to barber. His craftsmanship in barbering was matched only by his passion for speaking about the Grace of Jesus, an integral part of his daily life.

He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, serving two tours during the Vietnam War, a testament to his commitment and service to his country. Ron was an individual who exuded joy; he was always smiling, seeking to bring laughter to those around him. His outgoing nature and competitive spirit endeared him to many, making him a cherished figure in the lives he touched.

Ron received his diploma from Andrew Columbus Barber College. Outside of work, he found joy in gardening, nurturing a variety of flowers and roses. He also had a deep passion for sports, being a devoted fan of the Cleveland Browns, whose games brought him much excitement.

Ron is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Furgason, children, Tanya Wilson and her husband Mark, Nicole Sessions, Carmen Unger and her husband Jeremy, Faith Bennett and her husband Justin, and Cole Furgason. He is also survived by his stepson, Charles Garland, and a number of grandchildren: Christian Castellanos, Cameron Rabsatt, Chase Wilson, Dylan Sessions, Taylor Sessions, Alexis Unger, Hailey Unger, Taelen Unger, Ethan Bennett, Andrew Bennett, Halle Bennett, and his great-granddaughter, Lyra Rose Castellanos. Additionally, he leaves behind his sisters, Sandra K. Woodbury and Connie J. Hogg, along with many surviving nieces and nephews, including Ronald "Fuzzy" McGlothlin, Scott McGlothlin, and Rhonda McGlothlin.

Ron was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Tiffany Furgason, his sister, Barbara McGlinch, and his parents, Marvin Furgason and Alice D. Furgason-Beanblossom, who shaped him into the man he became.

Visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home in Centerville, Dayton, Ohio, on June 17, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 6:00 PM.
