Dan Leonard Marlow, 69, passed away January 11, 2025. He was born July 6, 1955, in Kingfisher, Oklahoma, to John and Helen Marlow. Dan grew up on the Marlow Farm west of Cashion, Oklahoma.
Dan graduated from Cashion High School in 1973. Dan was proud of earning his State and American Farmer's Degrees and was an avid member of the Cashion FFA. He raised and showed Polled Herefords across the states.
Dan met Sandy in the fall of 1976. They were married on January 21, 1978, and remained on the family farm in Cashion where they raised their two children, Kirk and Kelley. Dan was a member of the Cashion Christian Church. Dan loved spending time with the family and friends, coaching his kids' basketball teams, raising show animals with his kids, gardening and tractor rides with his grandson, Kai, hunting and fishing, searching for arrowheads, artifacts and morel mushrooms, and taking care of the family farm. His laughter and warm presence will be greatly missed.
Dan was preceded in death by his parents, John and Helen Marlow, his sister-in-law, Sue Brooks Stone and husband, Doyle Stone, and brother-in-law, Sonny Brooks.
He is survived by his wife Sandy Marlow; his children, Kirk Marlow and wife, Linden of Cashion, and Kelley Marlow Boling of Stillwater, Oklahoma; sister, Marsha Adams and husband, Bob of Cashion; and grandchildren Kai Marlow and Laina Boling; and many other loved family members and friends.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 17, 2025, at the Cashion Christian Church. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cashion Christian church.
