Dan William Welsh, a resident of Fort Wayne for 51 years, died peacefully in his sleep on Christmas morning in Carmel surrounded by his family.
Born in Anderson, Dan is predeceased by his parents, Tee and Audrey, and baby brother, Charlie.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Ann (née Laughlin), three children, Christopher, David, and Jennifer, daughter-in-law, Andrea, five grandchildren, Oliver, Audrey, Charlie, Sophia, and Luke, and a brother, Stanford Metz.
A Catholic funeral mass and military internment in Indianapolis will be planned for Dan’s 85th birthday in May.
