Dana Spivey, 42, died Monday, May 8, 2023. Visitation will be 5:30 PM until 7:00 PM Thursday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 10:00 AM Friday at Trinity Memorial Park Peace Chapel.
Dana was born on November 6, 1980 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Debra Ray Bates Spivey & Timothy Ray Spivey. She graduated from Forsan High School in 2000 and attended Howard College. She was a lifetime resident of Howard County.
Dana worked at Star Tech and also did child care. She loved art, especially drawing & painting. She loved pets, all animals, and the outdoors.
Dana is survived by her father: Tim Spivey of Big Spring; 1 brother: Chris Spivey (Jana) of Ackerly; sister-in-law: Lyndi Spivey of Forsan; 5 nephews & 1 niece: Devin Spivey (Addie) of Big Spring, Jacob Spivey of Leander, Brady Spivey of Ackerly, Jackson Spivey of Ackerly, Taryn Spivey of Forsan, & Jayce Spivey of Forsan; 1 great niece: Blaire Spivey of Big Spring; several aunts, uncles, & cousins.
Dana was preceded in death by her mother: Debbie Spivey & 1 brother: Mike Spivey.
Honorary pallbearers will be Devin Spivey, Jacob Spivey, Brady Spivey, Jackson Spivey, Taryn Spivey, & Jayce Spivey.
