Dana Wunderlich Obituary
Dana R. Wunderlich, 74, of Kent, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2025 at Heritage of Hudson. He was born in Akron on January 4, 1951 to the late Clarence R. and Barbara Wunderlich. Dana was a car enthusiast and was employed as parts manager with Thompson Pontiac for many years. He was a member of the Chapel in Akron, was a referee at high school football games and had a great sense of humor. Dana enjoyed having a good time and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves his wife Beth Wunderlich; children, Dana Christopher Wunderlich, Sarah Wunderlich, Anna Wunderlich and Jennifer Thomson; brother Robert Wunderlich; sister Barbara (Richard) Jaquay; and several close friends.
In honoring his wishes, Dana will be cremated and a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at 2:00PM at Bissler and Sons Funeral Home, 628 W. Main St. Kent, OH 44240, with Pastor Karl Johnson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made, in his name to Portage Animal Protective League, 8122 Infirmary Rd. Ravenna, OH 44226.
