Taft – Daniel Arellano passed away on September 28, 2024. He was 51.
Daniel was born on November 29, 1972 in Ft. Myers, Florida to Amelia (Alvarado) and Onesimo Arellano. He was a resident of Taft, Texas for most of his life. Daniel was a former structure fitter and drafter for Gulf Marine. He will always be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his grandson: James DeLeon; father: Onesimo Arellano.
Daniel is survived by his sons: Moses Arellano (Jackie DeLeon) and Eric Elisardo both from Taft, Texas; daughters: Danielle Ledesma (James) from Portland, Texas, Jezebelle Arellano (Erik Ortiz) from Orange Grove, Texas, Alizah Arellano from Corpus Christi, Texas; 15 grandchildren; parents: Amelia Alvarado; Israel (Odie) Mendez from Taft, Texas; sisters: Peggy Yslas from Florida, Nancy Arellano (Roy Savedra) from Portland, Texas, Paula Arellano and Raylynn Mendez (Roel Marta) both from Taft, Texas; numerous extended family members.
Visitation will begin Wednesday, October 9, 2024, 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. The Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held the same evening, 6:00 PM, in the Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. Burial will private.
