Daniel Lee Beckner, 58 of Mancelona passed away unexpectedly, Friday, November 10, 2023 at home. He was born September 3, 1965 in Petoskey the son of Earl and Rozella (Lewis) Beckner.
Dan was a family and friends kind of guy. He enjoyed playing games like Uno and Euchre, fishing with his kids, POGO, watching Westerns and racing. He also loved playing and watching sports such as softball/baseball, football, basketball, and wrestling.
Surviving is his life partner Shannon Beckner of Mancelona, mother and step-father Rozella (Sunny) Marshall of Gaylord, brothers Ben Beckner (Lisa) of FL and Earl Jr Beckner (Karen) of FL, children Matthew Everett (Sarah Elkins) of Mancelona, Amanda Everett of Mancelona, Daniel Everett of Traverse City, Alicia Stewart (Dustin Stewart) of Traverse City, Serena Beckner of Traverse City, Daniel Beckner Jr. of Kalkaska, Sierra Beckner of Mancelona, Dylan Beckner of Mancelona, grandchildren Derek Morse of Mancelona, Skyler Everett of Mancelona, Myles Everett of Frankfort, Patrick Rice-Everett of Mancelona, Evelyn Everett of Mancelona, Adriana Everett of Holland, William Stewart of Traverse City, Aubree Emery of Mancelona, Trenton Stewart of Traverse City, Jazlynn Stewart of Traverse City, Legand Fredenburg of Mancelona, Madalynn Stewart of Traverse City, Malcolm Stewart of Traverse City, cousins, Bobby Beckner, Hellen Beckner, Mark McKay, Tater Czykoski, Butch Czykoski, Earl Czykoski, Candi Niedewiecki, Caleen Niedling, Margie Beckner, Jimmy Beckner, Lori McKim, Linda Hall, Malvin Hall, Kathleen Beckner, and Roy Beckner,

He was proceeded in death by his father Earl Beckner Sr, son Michael Everett, brother Jamie Labonte, uncle Arnie Beckner Sr, Aunt Connie Hall, cousin Ellen Czykoski, and uncle Donald Beckner.
A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, November 15 at 12 Noon at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes with Rev. Kirt Hibbler officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
