Dan was a valued and much loved member of the Loy Norrix High School Class of 1968 here in Kalamazoo, MI. He and Sue are among a handful of LN high school sweethearts who found their soulmate here and built a wonderful live together. We are very proud of our high school friends. We will miss Dan greatly. Rest in Peace classmate. Sue, know that you and your family are in our prayers.

I met Dr Berner about 1984. He treated my son and myself through the years and performed several surgeries for each of us. On a follow up visit with him after major nose surgery, I played a trick on him. I had a fake stick on nose and had my back to him when he came in. I told him I wasn´t pleased with how my nose turned out. He asked me to let him take a look and when I turned around he burst into laughter!! We got pictures and laughed so much. I have thought of him a lot through the years and hoped he was well. I am so very sorry that he didn´t get a long retirement as he so deserved to enjoy his family more. My heart goes out to his wife, children and grandchildren. May the Lord bring comfort and peace to you moving forward.
