Daniel Oliver Bovinett, Ponca City, OK resident passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025 in Oklahoma City at the age of 69. Daniel was born on July 26, 1955 in East Saint Louis, Illinois to Robert Bovinett and Phyllis (Whiteside) Rancort. He grew up in Collinsville, IL and was a 1972 Collinsville High School graduate. Daniel married Charlene Cline on August 6, 1998 in Memphis, TN. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Ranch Dr Baptist Church in Ponca City.

Daniel is survived by his wife of 26 years, Charlene Bovinett of Ponca City; son, Jeffery Bryan of Seminole, OK; daughter, Julie Price of Seminole, OK; brother and sister-in-law, Glen and Margaret Bovinett of Sarasota, FL; two sisters, Cheryl Votava of Collinsville, IL and Debra Wolf of Collinsville, IL; three grandchildren, Jerica Adamé of McKinney, TX, Cassie Phay of Seminole, OK and Laura Price and husband, Robert of Guthrie, OK; thirteen great grandchildren and many other family and friends. 

Daniel was preceded in death by his parents; one brother and one grandson-in-law, Travis Phay.

Those serving as casket bearers will be Jeffery Bryan, Trae Benefield, Ty Benefield, Robert Gray, Danny Osborn and Glen Bovinett.

Viewing will be Friday, February 28, 2025 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, OK with Rev. Glen Edmondson, Rev. Bob Ryan and Rev. Jerry Hook officiating. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.
