Daniel Boyle Obituary

Daniel Boyle of Warminster, PA died suddenly at his home on Saturday, October 11, 2025. He was 45.

Dan was the beloved and devoted father of Trevor and Jolene Boyle.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, Dan was a loving son of Francine Hogan Boyle and the late James J. Boyle.

Dan is remembered as a dependable, loyal and fun-loving guy who never backed away from a challenge and poured his heart and soul into every endeavor. Once he had his mind set on a goal, Dan would stop at nothing to achieve it. As focused as he was on succeeding, Dan always made time to help his family and friends whenever he was asked. He loved raising his children, cheering on the Eagles and fishing with his dad.

Dan first stepped onto the football field at an early age and quickly showed the talent, athleticism and resilience his teams could rely on for the next 15 years. Whether he was a Warminster Pioneer, Archbishop Wood Viking or Catholic University Cardinal, Dan eagerly put his teams on his back and fought for every inch and through every tackle. He rushed for the most yards at Archbishop Wood in 1996 and 1997, led the team in scoring in 1997 and was a Bucks County All-Star in 1998.

At Catholic University, Dan helped the team win the Old Dominion Athletic Conference title in 1999. In 2000, Dan broke the single season rushing yard record at Catholic with 1,533 yards, a record that still stands.

After his football career ended, Dan earned a bachelor's degree in computer and information management from Neumann College. He carried the same hunger and determination off the field and into the corporate world. Dan joined Ellucian as an intern and spent the next 21 years working his way up the ranks to become an invaluable member of the team. His knowledge, expertise and management skills eventually earned Dan a top leadership position at the company.

With all of his athletic and professional achievements, Dan was most proud to be a father. Trevor and Jolene lit up his life, and he gave them all of his love and dedication. Dan instilled important values such as respect, politeness and kindness while leaving plenty of space for laughter, funny faces and Milkshake Tuesdays.

In addition to his loving children Trevor and Jolene and his mother Francine, Dan is survived by his loving brother and sisters James Boyle and his wife Kathleen, Kelly Boyle and her partner Michael, Frances Cotellese and her husband Joe. He is also survived by his adoring girlfriend Stephanie, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends.

Dan's family will receive friends on Monday, October 27, 2025 from 9:00 AM until his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM in St. Vincent de Paul Church, 654 Hatboro Road (at Tanyard Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954. His interment will take place privately.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Boston University CTE Center and to a GoFundMe page in support of his children.
