Daniel Coldrick Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Riverview Funeral Home by Halvey, LLC - Beacon on Oct. 28, 2024.
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Daniel J. Coldrick, Jr. on October 25th, after a short battle with cancer. He was 54 years old.
Born on April 9, 1970, in Mount Kisco, New York, Dan was the beloved son of Dan and Nancy Coldrick. He grew up in Brewster, New York, where he formed lifelong memories and friendships.
Dan began his education at St. Lawrence O'Toole Elementary School and later attended John F. Kennedy High School. His academic journey continued at Pace University, where he earned a degree that laid the foundation for his long and successful career in telecom sales.
In 2006, Dan married the love of his life, Heather, and together they built a beautiful family. Dan was a proud and devoted father to their two children, Emily and Connor, and considered being a dad his greatest achievement. He cherished every moment spent watching Emily dance and supporting Connor on the baseball field, where he also found joy in coaching. Dan's pride in his children knew no bounds, and he was their biggest fan in all their endeavors.
He is survived by his loving wife, Heather, and their children, Emily and Connor, as well as his father, Daniel Coldrick, Sr. He will be deeply missed by his sisters, Patty Desmarais and her husband Dan of Sudbury, Massachusetts, and Karen Volo and her husband Mike of Boston, Massachusetts. He was a cherished uncle to his nieces and nephews: Natalie, Daniel, Abby, Justin, Charlie, Sean, and Jack. Dan is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family, all of whom held a special place in his heart. He was predeceased by his mother, Nancy Coldrick, who was one of his biggest champions.
Dan was known for his unwavering loyalty, his strong sense of family, and his deep love for his children. He had a sharp sense of humor, a passion for tending to his lawn, and enjoyed trips to the casino for a bit of fun. Those who knew him will remember his particularity in what and who he valued most in life, always staying true to himself.
While Dan's life was cut far too short, the impact he had on those who loved him is everlasting. His family and friends will forever cherish his memory, and his legacy of love, loyalty, and pride in his family will live on in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know him.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, November 1 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Riverview Funeral Home by Halvey, 2 Beekman Street, Beacon. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson Street, Fishkill on Saturday, November 2 at 10 a.m.
