Angier, NC: Daniel “Danny” Soto, age 46, of NC-210 passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at his residence. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
Mr. Soto was born on June 28, 1979 in Yakima County, Washington to Juan Soto, II and Flora Tijerina Soto. He was a sheet metal fabricator for Stephenson’s for many years. He loved to fish, spend time outdoors camping and on the boat, and loved to tell his famous “Dad” jokes. Mr. Soto loved his family, his friends, and his work family. You could always find him entertaining his granddaughter Scarlett and his many nieces and nephews like he was one of the kids. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Surviving is his wife of 25 years, Cori Soto; father and mother, Juan and Flora Soto; children, Sapphire Soto Wasson, Daniel Soto, and Evelyn Soto; honorary son, Dylan Stephenson; granddaughter, Scarlett Wasson; sisters, Melissa Soto and Velma Soto; brothers, Juan Soto, III and Edward Soto; mother-in-law, Rhonda Stephenson; sister-in-law, Jessica Stanley and husband, Michael; many nieces and nephews; and special dog, Myrtle Soto.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
