Daniel Denis

Daniel James Denis passed away on June 7, 2024 at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia due to the effects of Zellweger Spectrum Disorder at 12 years old. Daniel was born on February 5, 2012 to Joseph and Abby (née Sheppard) Denis. He is survived by his grandparents Joe and Rita DePero and Pete and Kris Reeves and many uncles. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Paul Denis and his grandfather Charles Sheppard.
He had completed his schooling through the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit. He enjoyed attending school until the last few months of his life and loved his many teachers, therapists, and nurses including Miss Denielle and Mr. Randy.
Daniel loved playing with lots of very noisy toys - all at one time - with favorites including his Spanish letters, zebra piano, and counting turtle. His favorite movies were Frozen, Moana, and Trolls. There were days when all he wanted to watch was Frozen over and over again. Daniel was also able to travel many places throughout his life - Washington, DC, Orlando, FL, Charlotte, NC, Omaha, NE and several other cities. Prior to his death he was able to attend his final conference for the Global Foundation for Peroxisomal Disorders in Washington, DC, and was able to ride the train and metro which entertained him.
Friends and family are invited to attend Daniel's Life Celebration on Saturday, June 22, 2024, from 1:30 P.M. until his Funeral Service begins at 3:00 P.M. at John F. Givnish of Buckingham, 4886 York Road, Buckingham, PA 18912,

There are no words to express the amazing care that Daniel received throughout his life from Dr. Hogan and the rest of the team.
