Daniel Adam "Dan" Dolbee, age 44, of
Pampa, Texas-formerly of Warsaw, Indiana-passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at his home. Born to Charles and Brenda Dolbee, Dan grew up alongside his two brothers, learning early the value of hard work, humor, and family bonds.
Dan spent the last year in Pampa working as a welder for WW Tank & Vessel, continuing his legacy as a skilled tradesperson. His talents ranged from welding, to being the lead yard mechanic at Worthington Ag in Leesburg, IN, and even building RVs at the Forest River plant. Known as a jack of all trades, Dan was always ready to lend a hand. Whether fixing mowers with his dad or jumping in to help friends and neighbors with yard work, roofing, and non-certified mechanic work, his response was always, "I gotta guy!"-and he was, more often than not, that guy.
Outside of work, Dan's life was filled with adventure and love. He enjoyed fishing, canoeing, and floating down the river, and relished movie nights-with macaroni and cheese in hand-Night of Destruction at speedway, New Paris and gatherings around bonfires to being the first one at the poker tables. Family and friends were pivotal to his world. On June 14, 2006, he married his beloved Alissa Mulldune, after five years of courtship and tons of playful banter, together they built a life rich in laughter and companionship.
Dan was the life of every gathering, known for his boisterous spirit, infectious laughter, and unique ability to make anyone feel welcome. He may have been loud and sometimes a little outrageous, but his genuine love for people shone through every interaction. Though he disliked texting, he excelled at video calls, preferring to see the faces and smiles of those he cared about. His signature move-exclaiming "TaaaDaaa!" with arms thrown in the air-never failed to bring joy to not only his grandson, but to those around him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Dolbee; brother, Nathan Dolbee; stepfather, John Wagoner; and his mother-in-law, Laura Mulldune.
Dan's legacy is carried forward by his undeniably devoted wife, Alissa Dolbee of Warsaw, Indiana; his mother, Brenda Wagoner of Georgia; his children, Julianna Cooper (and fiancé David McConnell) of Etna Green, Indiana, Alayna Cooper of Warsaw, Indiana, Breanna Dolbee (and fiancé Alec Maxwell) of Warsaw, Indiana and Juston Heiman of Burket, Indiana. He is also survived by his brother, Matthew Dolbee (and wife Patty) of Georgia; father-in-law, David "Grandad" Mulldune of Warsaw, Indiana; brother-in-law, Benjamin Mulldune (and fiancé Rose Reimer) of Ohio; and his cherished grandchildren, Alexander Kiesow, Elijah Kiesow, Vivian Cooper, Carter Dolbee-Maxwell, Lailah McConnell; nephews, Nathan and Justin Dolbee of Royce City, Texas; niece, Olivia Dolbee of Warsaw, Indiana as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many cousins and friends. Dan's vibrant spirit, generosity, and unyielding smile will be deeply missed by his Sugar Momma and all who knew and loved him.
Celebration of Life Memorial Service Is What It Is, and pending "Dan Time"; arrangements are entrusted to Winegeart Funeral Home.
