Daniel Craig Eubank was born March 12, 1936, in Hinton, West Virginia and was a Florida resident for many years. He was called home on Thursday, July 11, 2024 at 88 years old.
Dan was an outdoorsman, he loved golf, swimming, grilling for his family and watching wildlife from his lanai. Dan loved his country and wore his pride everywhere he went, USA flag on his lapel, on his pocket, or proudly adorned any hat he wore. After military service Dan enjoyed a 40-year career with CSX Railroad. Where he achieved many milestones as he continued to rise in the company. Moving from city to city while raising his family. Dan finally settled in Fl. and traded trains for a golf cart. Dan was active in numerous organizations He was a Shriner and a Mason and volunteered as much as he possibly could, always giving of his time. No matter how many states he lived in, Hinton, West Virginia was always his home. He returned several times a year to enjoy family and friends while also laying flowers on the graves of those that had gone before him.
Dan was preceded in death by his wife Deloris Heslep Eubank of Red Sulphur, mother of his children, his father James Craig and Alverta Estrue Eubank; and his sisters, Mary Carol Meadows and Kathryn Ball.
Dan was much loved and will be missed by all that had the pleasure of his friendship.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Eubank; his son and daughter, Michael Craig Eubank (Jill) and Ann Eubank Shiflett (Michael Paul), stepchildren, Emily Boles (Preston) and Kathleen Ramos (Theodore); nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, and nephews.
Graveside services and burial will be held Saturday, July 20, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the Red Sulphur Springs Cemetery with Rev. Linda Gail Rowe officiating. Those wishing to attend the services are asked to meet at the cemetery.
