Daniel "Danny" Garza

Daniel "Danny" Garza went to be with the Lord May 24, 2025 at the age of 60. He was born November 6, 1964 in Victoria, Texas to Ismael R. Garza, Sr. and Julia Garza.
Family and friends will gather for visitation Thursday, May 29, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM with the Holy Rosary to be prayed at 7:00 PM at Grace Funeral Home, 2401 Houston Hwy., in Victoria, Texas. Funeral Mass will be Friday, May 30, 2025 at 9:00 AM at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Victoria, Texas. Bikers are welcome! Honoring Danny as pallbearers will be Christopher Garza, Deven Lopez, Tyler Garza, Aiden Garza, Gavin Garza and Jordan Licerio. Honorary Pallbearers are John Rodriguez, Nicholas Cuevas, Ben Garza, Brian Ramirez and Mike Licerio.
Danny was a true enthusiast of the open road. He cherished his Harley-Davidson motorcycles and spent much of his life riding with the wind at his back. His soul resonated with blues and rock and roll. "Rock N' Roll!" was his signature phrase, often shouted with joy and energy; a true reflection of his lively spirit and love for life. Above all, he was a devoted husband of 39 years, to his best friend, Priscilla. Danny and Priscilla were married in Victoria, Texas on August 28, 1986. A proud father of three, and a loving Popo to nine grandchildren: Deven Lopez, Tyler Garza, Aiden Garza, Gavin Garza, Kaylyn Garza, Jordan Licerio, Chloe Jimenez, Juniper Licerio and Bloom Ramirez, who all adored him. He had a special place in his heart for cats, offering care and affection to any he encountered. His hardworking nature showed through his many years in the oilfield, where he took pride in providing for his loved ones. He was a wireline driver for Clearwell Dynamics. Danny was the epitome of selflessness, always ready to help and known for his unwavering loyalty. His warmth, kindness, and giving spirit left a lasting impact on everyone he met. Those who knew him, even briefly, will remember his generosity, warmth and the way he made people feel seen and cared for.
Danny was preceded in death by his father, Ismael R. Garza, Sr; brother, Ismael Garza, Jr; sister, Cynthia Garza.
Leaving to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Priscilla Garza; daughters, Valari Garza (Mike Licerio) of Victoria, Texas, Brianna Garza (Brian Ramirez) of Victoria, Texas; son, Christopher Garza (Keena Diggs) of Victoria, Texas; mother, Julia Garza; siblings, Juan David Garza, Sr; Ralph Garza, Sally Ann Garza all of San Antonio, Texas; 9 grandchildren; along with many other family members and friends.
