He is survived by his loving wife Susana Hernandez of Inez, Tx, daughters, Christy Castillo (Paul) of Haltom City, Tx, Gloria (Annette) Hernandez Gamez (Sammy) of Bloomington, Tx, Ruby Ann Flores (Eric) of Victoria, Tx and Brenda Linette Hernandez (Sofia Lamas) of Placedo, Tx. Son, Hector R. Hernandez Jr. (Dalinda) of Victoria, Tx. Sister, Mercedes Salinas (Juan) of North Carolina. Brothers, Benito Hernandez of Killeen, Tx, Jesus Hernandez (Fabiola) of North Carolina, Luis Hernandez (Tatis) of North Carolina and Humberto Hernandez (Gloria) of Mexico.
Hector is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Nasario Hernandez and grandson-Frank Paul Castillo
Visitation will begin on Friday September 12, 2025 from 5pm until 8pm, with a Prayer service to begin at 6pm at Angel Lucy's Funeral home in Victoria, Tx.
Visitation will continue on Saturday September 13, 2025 from 9am until 10 am, with a Service to begin at 10am at Faith Family Church. 2002 E. Mockingbird Ln, Victoria Tx. Burial to follow at Resurrection cemetery.
Pallbearers will be, Hector R. Hernandez Jr, Hector R. Hernandez III, Eric Flores, Arthur Olguin III, Jordon Olguin, Sammy Gamez.
Under the care of Angel Lucy's Funeral Home in Victoria, Tx.
