Dear Goggin Family, Mr. Goggin was my boss at Boston Mutual from 1982 to 1998. I always remember him as a truly classy gentleman. What an amazingly accomplished life, with it s crowning glory being his beautiful family. Warm thoughts to All.

Danny and I go way back to 1942. We went to school together at St. Teresa's, in Somerville for eight years and then at Malden Catholic for three years. Dan's father, Pat, came to the USA from Ireland, with my father, Garrett Barry, who worked for Pat in his Pub on Somerville Ave. They were the best of friends. After our graduation in 1953, I didn't see Danny again until our 50th Reunion, even though our sons had played on the same teams in Chelmsford. At the reunion Danny was most friendly, and we talked over old times throughout the day, as if the fifty years had never happened. I'll always remember that, and I'll always remember Dan as a loyal and trusted childhood companion.
As the Irish say, "Dia Duit" Garrett (Garry) Barry

Dear Dan and Sheila, Although I never met your Dad, I know he was a great guy because he made YOU! My sister lives in New Seabury, and I know just where the church is where his service will be. You are in my thoughts.

I only knew Dan for a year before he passed and I feel truly grateful for the opportunity to have met him. He had such a sharp wit and was so obviously intelligent and kind. Just a one of a kind person. They do not make them like this anymore, classic man of integrity. But watching the way his children reached out to and cared for my parents this past year makes me realize how clearly Dan lives on in this family. My deepest condolences and thanks to the Goggin family.
