Daniel Gosz Obituary
Dan was born on September 21, 1946, in Manitowoc, son of Daniel and Eleanore (Shimek) Gosz Sr. He was a 1965 graduate of Valders High School. Following High School Dan served in the United States Army in Vietnam being discharged in 1968. On February 28, 1970, Dan was married to Judy M. Hickmann at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz. He retired from the Kohler Company as a truck driver in 2009. Dan enjoyed boating at his cottage on Long Lake and anything to do with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife: Judy M. Gosz, Valders; one son and his wife: Troy Gosz (Jessie Kushner), Dodgeville; one daughter and son-in-law: Tracy (Scott) Tuschel, Cato; three grandchildren: Kylee (Tyler) Terp, Manitowoc, Cameron Tuschel (Aubrey Thielke), Two Rivers, Cassidy Tuschel (Zak Getter), Cato; two great grandchildren: Jack and Bryson Terp; two special grand dogs: Pickels and Zorra; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Ronald (Karen) Gosz, Kiel and John (Isabella) Gosz, FL; six sisters and three brothers-in-law: Audrey Strasburg, Jefferson, Donna (Mike) Mowrer, Manitowoc, Judy Evenson, Valders, Nancy Hemmersley, Manitowoc, Kayleen (Blake) Halderson, Valders, Marilou (Bob) Mueller, Valders; two brothers-in-law and four sisters-in-law: Roger (Diane) Hickmann, Kiel, Donna Hickmann, St. Nazianz, Elaine (Willie) Zutz, Valders, Margie Ryan, Manitowoc, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents Daniel and Eleanore Gosz Sr.; six brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law: Bill Karlin, Dale Strasburg, Donald Evenson, Tom Ryan, Vernon "Butch" Hickmann, and Ethel (Les) Bubolz.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at the Christianson & Deja Funeral Home, 202 S. Liberty St, Valders, from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM. At 4:00 PM there will be a time of shared memories.
