Daniel Green went to the arms of his father on August 17th, 2025. He was born to Martha and Harvey Green on October 1st,1964. Daniel graduated from Lake Gibson Senior High School and went on to follow his passion for vehicles as a mechanic. In truth he was an all-around handyman. He was well known in his community for his integrity and values of hard work, honesty, and doing a job right the first time. He was a long time member of the Crestview Baptist Church. He never met a stranger and had no problem giving the shirt off of his back to help others. In his spare time, he could be found hunting or fishing and cooking up whatever he caught. He also loved Nascar and could be found watching the race on Sundays. He will be remembered for his booming voice and loud laugh, his enjoyment of mischief, and the love he had for his family. Daniel was preceded in death by both his parents, his brother William (Billy) Mills and grandson Bennan. His love lives on in his partner Kathleen; his siblings Suzanne (Joe), Donnie (Amy), and Keith; his children Curtis, Daniel (Danny) (Carolyn), Tricia, Heather (Shawn), and Drew; as well as his grandchildren Cashton, Ashton, Hailee, E'Mariea, Le'Sheonia, Jeanna, Hailie, Kian, Charlotte, Gatlin, Aaliyah, and Aiden. There will be 2 services celebrating his life: August 19th at 3 p.m. at Sopchoppy Southern Baptist church on Curtis Mill Rd and August 21st at 6 p.m. at the Kathleen Lion Club on Central Ave NW in Lakeland, FL. Please join his family in celebrating Daniel's legacy of a life well lived.
