Lawrence Cleveland Snodgrass, 78, of Woodville, passed away on August 19, 2025. Mr. Snodgrass proudly served his country as a U.S. Army veteran during the Vietnam War. After leaving the military, being the jack of all trades that he was, he opened his own jewelry store, Snodgrass Jewelry and Repair. He later expanded his work and opened Cleves Jewelry in the old Northwood Mall. He loved the outdoors and was known as a master on a tractor, always willing to lend a hand to his friends and neighbors. Fondly known as the neighborhood security, he watched over those around him with kindness and care. He was preceded in death by his parents, Grover and Melster Snodgrass; his sister, Ginny Lambert; his daughter, Wendy Snodgrass; and his granddaughter, Hailey Duhart. He is survived by his loving wife, Lorie Smith; three daughters, Colby Snodgrass (Travis), Kelli Osborn (Chris), and Misty Cumby (Ray); eight grandchildren, Remi, Luke, Chance, Caleb, Colin, Casey, Hunter, and Dalton; and one great-grandchild, Lucy. Services will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Family Funeral Home at Harvey-Young Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at White Cemetery in Woodville. Skip and Trey Young are assisting the family, along with Paula and Amanda.
