Danise Elaine Snodgrass, age 82 of Weber City, VA went home to be with her Lord and Savior, and was reunited with her loving husband, on August 15, 2025. Danise was born on September 14, 1942, in Kingsport, TN to Alonzo and Easter Adams. On August 11, 1961, Danise married the love of her life, Kenneth Snodgrass, and after 64 years of a beautiful life together, he preceded her in death on October 12, 2024.

Danise loved spending time with her family and going to church. Danise was instrumental in developing the women's sports association in Scott County, and she loved reading, traveling and baking.

Danise was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth Snodgrass; son, Randy Snodgrass; sister, Joan Wood; and brother, Harold Adams. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Judy Smith; two grandchildren, Amber Forrester, and Tyler Fields; six great-grandchildren, Natalie Vicars, Allie Fields, Cash Fields, Wyatt Fields, Zoe Fields, and Iliana Forrester; one great-great-granddaughter, Sophie Sizemore; special niece, Neva Ennis and husband, Harry; many loving nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Gateway Baptist Church and/or Caris Hospice.

The family would like to give a special "Thank You" to Tiffany at Mountain Region Home Health.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 21, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Gateway Baptist Church, formerly First Baptist Church, Weber City. A memorial service will follow at 7:00 pm with Pastor Justin Smith officiating.
