Daniel Richard Haley
March 6, 1961 - February 20, 2026
Daniel R. “Danny” Haley, 64, of Shoals, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2026 at his residence.
Born March 6, 1961, in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Joseph Richard and Betty (Moniger) Haley.
Danny married Tammy Cobb on June 2, 2018 and she survives.
He graduated from Hempfield High School and was veteran of the United States Navy.
Danny worked as a Field Service Engineer for many years with Prima Power.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors, music, animals, ice cream, his 2 dogs, and spending time with his family.
Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife, Tammy; children, Darren Haley, Danielle (Jacob) Palmer, Lacy Atchison, Tyler (Brianna) Atchison, Casey (James) Payne, Tanner (Chloe) Duncan, Laythan (Taylor) Cobb, and Trayson Terrell; 19 grandchildren; siblings, Donna (Steve) Grier, Jeff Haley, and Cathy Marzaloes; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Kenny Inman, Charles “Pickle” Byrd, Jerry Tiller, and James Deuley.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers-in-law, Jeff Marzaloes and Mike Smith.
Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. on Monday, February 23, 2026 at the Queen-Lee Chapel of George Funeral Care. Burial will follow in Port William Cemetery. Military rites will be accorded at the cemetery by members of the Shoals American Legion.
Visitation will be from 2-5 P.M. on Sunday, February 22, 2026 at the Queen-Lee Chapel in Shoals.
