Mr. Daniel “Pinky” Hardin, age 72 of Kingston, Georgia, passed away on Friday, September 19th, 2025, at Piedmont Cartersville Hospital.
Mr. Hardin was born in Floyd County on September 14th, 1953, a son of the late Tom Albert Hardin and the late Imagene Waits Hardin. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Gary Hardin. Mr. Hardin was a graduate of East Rome High School, class of 1971. After high school, he joined the Wilson Tile Company where he continued to work until his retirement. When he wasn’t working, you would often find him enjoying a good round of golf with his buddies, trout fishing in the mountains, or relaxing on a camping trip. A food connoisseur, he enjoyed eating at its finest, always finding the best meals on his trips. He loved his fur babies and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Kathy Hardin; two sisters, Ginger Miles and Norma Jean Prater; extended friends and family.
Honorary pallbearers include his circle of friends, Robin Ables, James Wilson, Jimi Burkhalter, Kerry Brown, Arthur Lynch, Prentice Brown, and Ricky Teems.
Mr. Hardin was cremated, and a celebration of life is being planned and will be announced as soon.
